IRIA – ICRI Outreach Programme 2026 – Beyond Grayscale

The Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (Rajasthan State Chapter) organized another academic session under the IRIA – ICRI Outreach Programme banner. Formally centered on the medical theme “Beyond Grayscale,” the conference was designed to enhance diagnostic expertise with a heavy emphasis on advanced Doppler ultrasound techniques for clinical practitioners. The single-day academic gathering was conducted on Sunday, 23rd August 2026, starting in the late afternoon at 04:30 pm. To ensure broad educational accessibility, delegate registration was offered free of charge, though completing registration in advance remained mandatory for all attendees. The event was organized with the support of its official event partner, Mindray.

The proceedings and academic sessions took place at 5 Flowers Ananta Elite, situated at SP-3 Chambal Industrial Area near the New Bus Stand in Kota, Rajasthan. The selected venue provided a professional setting for regional radiologists to connect, share insights, and discuss complex diagnostic challenges. Beyond the educational environment of the hotel conference halls, the host city of Kota provided an accessible central hub for medical practitioners arriving from across the state.

The event featured a well-structured scientific programme running continuously through the late afternoon and evening. Formal operations began with delegate registration between 04:30 pm and 05:00 pm. The academic presentations initiated from 05:00 pm to 05:30 pm with a dedicated lecture on “Splenoportal doppler,” presented by a local hospital consultant radiologist from Kota. The second academic segment ran from 05:30 pm to 06:00 pm, offering practical guidance on “Fetal Doppler simplified,” led by a consultant radiologist and fetal medicine center director based in Jaipur. Following this, a senior consultant radiologist and clinic director from Bhilwara conducted two consecutive talks: the first from 06:00 pm to 06:30 pm covering “Upper limb arterial Doppler,” followed by a second session from 06:30 pm to 07:00 pm addressing “Scrotal Doppler – Torsion and beyond”. The scientific agenda formally wrapped up from 07:00 pm onwards, transitioning directly into the inaugural ceremony and a networking dinner.

The planning and seamless delivery of the programme were made possible by a dedicated committee working alongside regional coordinators and state leadership. The direct organizing team featured the Patron of the State IRIA Outreach Program, the President and Secretary of the State IRIA Rajasthan, State Outreach Program Coordinators, and designated Local Coordinators in Kota. Institutional guidance and organizational oversight were provided by the complete Rajasthan Chapter’s Executive Body, including the President, President Elect, Past President, Vice Presidents, Joint Secretaries, Treasurer, Central Council Members, and State Executive Members.
